In an unexpected twist, the Memorial Park Civic Association has voted to dissolve the ad hoc Trail Study Committee that has been the source of much bitter controversy and division during the past year, some of which was chronicled on this blog.
The neighborhood voted overwhelmingly in favor of ending any further inquiry into installing a surfaced path around the park.
