Never Mind!
I was planning to continue with the Truthiness Reports, but I realized that it's not necessary to take aim at a man who is in the process of shooting himself in the foot.

I wouldn't be so sure he is shooting himself in the foot. The path proponent duo is crafty and they know exactly what they are doing. For example, they are going around their own path committee members in making contact with the city and planning their strategy because they know a couple of them are opposed to the path and they want to keep them in the dark. We all need to keep our antennas up and twitching. As Abdullah Ansari said, "Others fear what the morrow may bring, but I am afraid of what happened yesterday."
the park, if what you say is true --and I'm not saying it is -- it would be very disappointing to many people. After all, sticking with procedure to the bitter end has been something of an issue in some quarters.
If an officially formed committee which has held scheduled, "open" meetings, with everyone being told they would have input and be kept abreast of happenings, is now operating in secret and failing to disclose -- well, it would certainly give people much to complain about, wouldn't it?
I know I would have something to say.
