The Missing Street Sign Mystery
Along the lines of the strange accusations from you-know-who about neighborhood shenanigans, these are some of my theories about what might have happened to the missing street sign. I welcome any others:

It might just be that we are making too big a deal about this. I suspect a college kid whose first name is Wesley took the sign as a decoration for his room at his fraternity house.
I believe Wesley Snipes is serving time for income tax evasion, so he's got a good alibi.
What about a Wellesley College student or alum?
But this is all unfair and groundless speculation. We must stop.
Let's handle this the way our grade school teachers used to do.
To the thief: We're going to turn our backs and close our eyes. Put the sign back and everything will be forgiven.
Otherwise the whole neighborhood is going to be punished.
